Why we ask for Google access
When you continue with Google, ProClipper requests permissions for these features:
- Sign-in: your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile information identify your ProClipper account.
- Channel and video access: identify channels you authorize, display your video library, and read video details and performance counts.
- Uploads: upload videos and the titles, descriptions, tags, and visibility settings you choose to your connected channel.
- YouTube Analytics: show watch time, average view duration, audience retention metrics, and subscribers gained for supported videos.
- Optional video management: an additional permission is requested if you choose features that change or cancel a video's publishing schedule.
Creating clips does not publish them. Publishing happens when you confirm an upload or enable an automatic publishing workflow. You can disconnect a channel in the app or revoke access in your Google Account connections.
